Today, we are in Harsham camp, not far from Erbil. This camp welcomes families from North-West Iraq. We are in a prefabricated housing at the entrance of the camp with Nesrin, Haida, Fatima, Shereen, Hani, Houda, Jasmina, Sohad, Sabiha, Hasma and Alya. 20/09/17 – Aram, Rhéa, Arjane, Nirvana, Ala, Arî, Mariam, Noorane, lycéens en direct du lycée français Danielle Mitterrand à Erbil – Le Kurdistan, l’écologie, l’art et les sports, le voyage (Français)

Cet atelier a été réalisé avec les élèves de seconde et de première du lycée français Danielle Mitterrand à Erbil. Les élèves sont kurdes, turcs, égyptiens ou syriens. Ils parlent tous français et évoquent ensemble les sujets qui leur tiennent à coeur.

Le camp d’Ashti 2 est un camp chrétien, géré par l’Eglise en la personne de Père Emmanuel. Celui-ci veille sur ses 5000 habitants qui ont été déplacés lors de la prise de Mossoul et de Karakoch par l’Etat islamique…

We are in Duhok, in the western part of Iraqi Kurdistan close to the border with Turkey and Syria. Rasheed, the UNHCR representative in the governorate, picks us up in the morning in Duhok with Shvan, the Protection Officer who will be our translator for the radio workshops of the day.
